Newmarket
Most Newmarket bathrooms we open up were built in the 1980s to 2000s and are due for more than new paint. We rebuild them properly: waterproofing, ventilation and plumbing first, then the tile and fixtures you picked.
In 20- to 40-year-old subdivision homes in Glenway, Stonehaven or Summerhill Estates, it's common to find tile set straight onto drywall, undersized exhaust fans and tired shut-off valves. In the older houses near Main Street the surprises are different: walls out of plumb and older pipe. We price what we can see and tell you plainly about what we can't until demolition.
Swapping fixtures in place usually doesn't need a building permit. Moving or adding plumbing, changing walls or adding a bathroom generally does, and we file it with the Town of Newmarket.

It depends on scope and materials. We give you a written schedule before we start, and if it's your only bathroom we plan the downtime with you.
