Opening up walls?

Removing or altering walls can involve structure, ductwork, plumbing or wiring, and usually needs a building permit and sometimes engineered drawings. We assess this at the estimate and handle permits when they're needed. If you're also planning a basement apartment or a bathroom, we can plan the work together.

Warranty

Work we perform comes with a 1-year warranty. Damage caused after handover (for example by misuse or accidents) isn't covered. This warranty is in addition to your rights under Ontario law.

Do you design the kitchen or do I need a designer?

We plan the layout and scope with you at the estimate and through selections. If you already work with a kitchen designer, we're happy to build from their drawings.

Who handles the electrical and plumbing in a kitchen renovation?

Electrical and plumbing work is completed through our licensed partner contractors, coordinated by us as part of your project.

Do kitchen renovations need a permit?

Replacing cabinets and counters in the same layout often doesn't, but removing or altering walls, moving plumbing or major electrical changes can. We confirm with your municipality and handle permits when they're needed.

How long will I be without a kitchen?

It depends on scope and material lead times, especially cabinets and countertops. We give you a written schedule before work starts and plan the demolition date around delivery.

Do you offer a warranty on kitchen work?

Yes. Work we perform comes with a 1-year warranty. Damage caused after handover isn't covered. Manufacturer warranties on appliances and products are separate.
